AnnaMae A. Tinnel

AnnaMae Amanda Tinnel, 105, of Sheffield, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 25, 2023. She was born on April 25, 1918 to Amos and Mary Hamrick in Erbacon, WV. She loved gardening and was given the nickname “Mother Nature” because of her skill and love for gardening. AnnaMae was loved dearly by her family, friends, and neighbors and will be greatly missed.

AnnaMae is survived by her children, Nelson Tinnel (Dolores, deceased), Violet Spencer (James, deceased), Barbara Rhodes (Philip), and Johnny Tinnel (Ann), along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and great great great grandchildren.

AnnaMae was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Mary Hamrick; her husband, Thurman Tinnel; daughter Mary Crites (Harry, deceased); son Frank Tinnel (Betty, deceased); and grandchildren.

All services and burial will take place in Summersville, WV.
