Anthony George Ponorica

Anthony George Ponorica was born on December 25,1958 in Lorain, Ohio, and passed away on April 4, 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio. He worked in the restaurant business his whole life, retiring from the Carrabba’s restaurants in Houston, Texas as a managing partner. After that, he returned to Ohio to be with his family. Anthony loved spending time with his family and his cats. He also enjoyed cooking, collecting sports memorabilia, and traveling, often taking family members with him.

Anthony is survived by his sisters, Kim Risdon (Rob) and Debbie Nazario (Chris); nieces Amanda Brundage (Terry), Rebecca Holley (Scottie), and Sarah Risdon (Tyler), nephew Michael Nazario; great nieces and nephews, Matt, Sophia, Lucy, Lucas, Liam, London, Laynee, Oaklee, and Kala Lutz (David) and their children, J.J. and Raelynn; and cousins, Walter Duckworth and Darryl Duckworth (Carey).

Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, George and Norma Ponorica; nephew, Christopher Nazario; great-great niece, Paisley Lutz; aunt, Doris Duckworth; and many other family members.
