Derwood P. Lilly

Derwood P. Lilly, 54 of Lorain, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, March 22, 2021. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and enjoyed watching movies. He loved his family, especially his two sons of whom he was very proud.

Derwood is survived by his sons, Nathaniel and Phillip Lilly; mother, Esther Lilly (James Damiano); brother, Dale Lilly (Melissa); sister, Melissa Lilly (Norman); and aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marcus D. Lilly, Sr.; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and many other family members.

The family will receive friends at the Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd., Sheffield Twp. on Thursday from 6-8pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 11am followed by the burial at Brookdale Cemetery.
