Eileen M. Gerber

Eileen M. Gerber, born August 19, 1929 to John and Bertha (Bayus) Kosash in Lorain, OH. In 1950, she married Richard A. Gerber and that union produced five children, 10 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. Eileen’s lifelong passion was being a florist.

Eileen is survived by two daughters, Janet K. Gerber and Jane M. (Gerber) Shedron (Mark); her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bertha Kosash; husband, Richard A. Gerber; children, Richard A. Gerber, Jr, Gina (Gerber) Lomax, and John R. Gerber (Dorothy, surviving); and her sister, Mildred Pataky.

A celebration of Eileen’s life will be held at the Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd., Sheffield Twp beginning at 2pm on Saturday, July 17 and ending at 4pm with a service beginning at 3pm.
