Gary Dalton

Gary Dalton, age 64, passed away on July 27, 2022 after a year illness with cancer. Gary was born October 25, 1957 in Wuerzburg, Germany. He was raised in Vermilion, residing in Elyria the past 30 years. Gary inherited his Dad’s skill and talent in carpentry and remodeling, along with the love of fishing.

Gary is survived by his love of 30 years, Donna Pratt; parents, Erna Gerki, and Lovell Dalton (Mary Erwin); sisters, Lita Harrold (Richard) and Kimberly Kuzak (Dale); brothers, Rodney and Brian Dalton; children, Christopher Dalton and Danielle Kay; stepchildren, Melissa and Jeffrey Pratt; grandchildren, Kobe, Layla, Cassidy, Jackson, Shawn, Brandon, Erick, and Rowan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Elsa and Wilhelm Muhl; paternal grandparents, Della and Delmos Dalton; and stepfather, Phillip Gerki.

Respecting Gary’s wishes, there will be no services.

Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.
