Jeanna Christine Geiger was born in Lorain, Ohio on September 18, 1969, the cherished daughter of the late Edna Geiger and Ralph Smith. She spent her final days surrounded by her family, friends and dear, beloved cousins Anthony and Jill (her caregivers). She passed peacefully on September 12, 2022 after a long fight with cancer.

Jeanna enjoyed her life as the only Geiger girl, playing cards, crossword puzzles, spending time with family, and loving her grandkids.

Jeanna is survived by her brother, Gregory Geiger of Lorain; her step-brothers, Marcus Vann and Justin Woods of Chicago; her beloved children, Dontaye Blakely and Dominique McGee of Lorain, and Cassandra Lucas of Florida; 15 grandchildren that she cherished; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jeanna is preceded in death by her mother, Edna Geiger; her father, Ralph Smith; her grandparents, O'Dell and Nettie Geiger; her uncles, Cordell Geiger Sr, Jerry Geiger Sr;  her aunt, Cassandra Geiger; and her cousin, Jeffrey Geiger.

Private family services will be held, per Jeanna's request.
