Dennis J. Jessel, 56 of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2020 in his home. He was a lifetime resident of Lorain, Ohio, who was known as the neighborhood handyman. He passionately catered to surrounding neighbors for all and any work. He was a perfectionist in his work, belongings, and hobbies. We will remember him by his passion for fishing, woodwork, collectibles, and a loving father of one.

Dennis is survived by his son, Adrien K. Jessel-Simmons; siblings, Nancy Jessel (Mike Thompson), Carol Kolcun (David), Joann Harris (Buford), and Enedina Nieto (Jerry); and nieces and nephews – Mia Thompson, Amanda Kolcun, Nathaniel Kolcun, Ashley Kolcun, Richard Kolcun, Daniel Haslage, and Cristol Haslage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Jessel and Virginia and Manuel Nieto.
The family will hold a private celebration of Dennis’s life.
