Jewell Lee Evans

Jewell Lee Evans passed away peacefully on January 4th, 2025. She was born June 26th, 1955, in Charleston, West Virginia to parents, Harry and Edith (nee Harris) Evans. Having lived most of her life in Ohio, she graduated from North Ridgeville High School in 1973. Jewell proudly served her country in the Army from 1978 to 1983.

She had the biggest heart and would do anything she could for her friends and family. She loved and cared especially for her son, Michael Evans. She took care of her best friend, Barb, before becoming ill herself.

She is survived by her son, Michael Evans; grandson, Larry Evans; cousin, Tammie (Gerry) Saddler; and nephews, Jeff Evans and JD Evans. Her friend, Holly Poledna, assisted in her arrangements for the family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Edith Evans; and her brothers, John and Jack Evans.

A visitation will be held for family and friends on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 6:00  to 7:00 pm, and a service 7:00 pm, at Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 North Ridge Road, Sheffield Twp, Ohio 44035. Interment will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2024, at 10::00 am in Brookdale Cemetery, where Army military honors will be given.
