Kathryn "Sue" Swan

Kathryn “Sue” Swan (nee Ayres) passed into peace July 11, 2022 after a long fight against dementia. She was a dedicated daughter, mother, and grammie, and a wonderful friend. She was a graduate of East High School in 1962 and a homemaker. She showed her children the meaning of hard work every day, and when they were grown she continued this example by working in manufacturing until her retirement. She was a Den Leader with the Boy Scouts in Goodyear Heights. She loved camping, gardening, and bowling. Sue like to watch NASCAR and basketball.

Sue leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved children, Dave Swan, Kari Swan, and Shari Compton (George); her grandchildren, Chris Hymes, Jimmie Kincaid, Kyle Compton (Ashley), Matthew Compton, Brittany Wright (Jeremy), Nichole Swan, Bill Swan Jr, Jennifer Wagner (Tony), Donielle Butcher; and her great grandchildren, Tyler McHood, Jordan Hymes, Jemma Hymes, Jaci Hymes, Trenton Kincaid, Ella Compton, Anastasia Compton, Nathan Wright, Natalie Wright, Zoey Swan, Jaelyn Wagner, Austin Wagner, LeeAnthony Hopkins, Owen Hopkins, Isiah Hopkins, Lilly Robertson, Julie Robertson; and many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Marion Ayres, her brother, Drex Ayres, her sister, Jo Hutchison, her son, Bill Swan and her beloved granddaughter, Staci Ferrell.
