Mabel B. Hardman

Mabel B. Hardman, 91 of Elyria, went home to be with the Lord on September 23, 2021 at University Hospital Elyria after battling complications that arose from Covid-19. Her hobbies included bowling, golf, baking, and most of all, spending time with her family. Mabel retired as an Executive Secretary from Bailey Controls in Cleveland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie and Frank Hardman; sisters, Louise, Pearl, Cora, and Elizabeth; and brothers, Scott, Walker, Edward, Eugene, Raymond, and Thomas.


She is survived by her sisters, Mary Stephens and Margaret Peck; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and even, great-great-great nieces and nephews. Mabel was a beloved aunt to several generations and will be missed dearly.


The family will receive friends at the Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd. E., Sheffield Twp. on Saturday, October 2 from 3pm until a memorial service at 4pm.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Dementia Society of America.


Her memorial service will be livestreamed.
