Michael Kowalczyk

Michael Kowalczyk, 69 years old, died of natural causes on October 6, 2023. He was born on November 6, 1953 in Lorain, Ohio.

Michael was a very active member of St. George Orthodox Church, serving as Financial Secretary, Reader and Server. He also was an avid bicyclist and marathon runner and collected cars.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mildred Kowalczyk. He is survived by his siblings, George Kowalczyk (Susan) and Steve Kowalczyk (Jody); nieces and nephews, Greg Kowalczyk, Silver, Ronan, Sable and Luciana.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 12  at Wyers Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 North Ridge Road, Elyria, OH 44035. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with a Pomen Prayer Service conducted by Fr. Syngelos Nektarije Tesanovic at 7:00 pm.   Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Ridge Hill Cemetery.
