Patricia D. Haupt

Patricia D. Haupt, 58 of Elyria passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 20, 2022 at her home. She worked most of her life as a nurse’s aide, where she loved caring for all of her residents, until becoming disabled in 2004. She enjoyed all music and loved Earth, Wind and Fire. In her downtime she like watching court shows and coloring. Patricia especially loved spending time with her grandkids, family and her dog Chance. She was vibrant, silly and charismatic, and will be greatly missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Ernie Haupt, Jr.; daughter, Gina Garrick (nee Knisley) (Arnold); stepchildren, Justin Haupt, Sr. and Heather Haupt; grandchildren, Javon, Kasen, Breanna, Madison, and Justin, Jr.; fathers, Thomas Knisely and Robert Stottlemire; siblings, Carol Smith (Randy), Kimmi Cose (Kenny), Robert “Charlie” Stottlemire, and Rebecca “Becky” Kintigos (Tony); many nieces and nephews; and her dear friend and caregiver Lila Maher.

Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Stottlemire; and siblings, Debra Hawkins, Tammy Bledsoe, and Tina Huey.

According to Patricia’s request, no services will be held.

Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.
