Sharon Louise Lilak

Sharon Louise Lilak (Polly) age79 of Lorain, passed away peacefully at New Life Hospice Friday May 5, 2023.  She was born October 17, 1943 in Amherst, Ohio.

 

Sharon enjoyed baking and spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She was a loyal Browns fan, and enjoyed her fantasy football. She was supportive of local stock car racing in Lorain and Sandusky, in which her husband raced and her grandson Joe currently races. Sharon was nicknamed The Cabbage Roll Queen for her delicious cabbage rolls by her friends and Family.

 

Sharon is survived by her loving daughter, Paula (Marty) Howard; grandchildren, Mayetta, Michael and Matthew Lilak, Joseph (Vicki Butera) Cabrera and Kayla Cabrera; great grandchildren, Gabriel Bailey, Gavin Davieau, and Peyton and Joseph Cabrera.

 

Sharon is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Mike Lilak; parents, Steven Polly and Sophie (Rym) Polly; sister, Katherine Johnson; brother, Steve Pauley; son, Michael Lilak; and great granddaughter, Brooklyn Hammon.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held on June10, 2023 at the Lorain County Coon Hunters, 2400 Sunnyside Road, Vermilion, Ohio at 2:00 pm, with a luncheon to follow.
