Shores, T. Parnell

T. Parnell Shores, 70 of Elyria, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. He was a retired teacher from Southview High School where he taught marketing for 32 years. He was a coin collector and loved his photography.

Parnell is survived by his children, Jordan Shores, Nicole Calopietro (Sean), and Aaron Barberic (Andrea); grandchildren, Tehya, Xavier, Zander, Quinn, Zoe, Karter, and Kaison; sister, Vanessa Booker; nieces, Keandra Booker, and Alonda Woods; cousins, E. Patilla Corn and C. Rochell Corn; his former wife and forever friend, Mary Louise Shores; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Irene Shores.

A Celebration of Parnell’s life will take place on Monday, July 20 at 4:30pm. Please arrive between 4-4:30pm at the Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd., Sheffield Tnsp. Masks and social distancing are required.
