Thomas J. Wolfe, 67 of Lorain, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022. He was an avid fisherman who used to also love hunting, but he quit and became an animal advocate. Tom also loved watching movies and being a home body. Above all else, he loved his family.
Tom is survived by his loving wife Joyce (nee Garner) with whom he spent 27 years; daughters, Heather McCrary, Barbara A. Spurlock (Mike), Sherri L. Wolfe, Terra L. Garner, Melonie L. Mitchell (Gilles Lebreux); grandchildren, Bernard Pettway, Isis McCrary, Gauge McCrary, Alexis Yenni, Aliyha Vidovich, and Gillian Burnside; nephew, Luke Wolfe and his children, Nathaniel, Rowen, and Olivia Wolfe; several aunts and uncles; many cousins; and his special dog, Joe. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Wolfe; mother, Elsie Stump; and brothers, Lawrence Wolfe and Benjamin Smith.
According to his wishes, Tom was cremated by Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel. A celebration of Tom’s life will take place in the future. In lieu of flowers, donations to the funeral home would be appreciated.
