Thomas Molich, 92 of Elyria, passed away on October 8, 2024. He was retired from US Steel and was a Korean War Army veteran. Following his retirement he owned his own Landscaping Business. He was an all-around handyman and used to race cars at the Lorain Speedway. Thomas loved to travel. He traveled throughout the United States and to most places around the world, especially to Egypt, New Zealand, and China where he walked the Great Wall. He was active in Community Planning Programs and was well known in the neighborhood for posting many political campaign signs, mainly anti Bill Grace signs, in his front yard on W. River Rd. Tom also loved to grow flowers to take to the waitresses (especially Lisa) at George’s Restaurant.

Tom is survived by his children, Tami Sue Fitzgerald and Timothy Molich, along with their children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Joanna Molich, and a sister, Helen Molich Donovan.

A gathering in his memory will take place at Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 2949 W River Rd. N, Elyria on Monday, October 14 at 10:00 am.
